Are you aware that your makeup expires?

Some of us tend to collect makeup products and keep it around for a long time in our makeup bags or drawers.

Unfortunately, some products don’t have an expiration date on them although they do expire, which can be harmful to our skin and eyes. Another disadvantage of expired makeup is that once it's expired, it doesn't give the same effect.

There is a symbol on some cosmetic packages called P.A.O. and it stands for “The period-after-opening”.

  • It's good to buy what suits your skin tone, it will look good on you and you will use it continuously.

  • Remember when you bought it; at least the year and month, so you’ll know when to replace it. You can also write it down on the product or on your phone.

  • There are products which you spray on makeup to disinfect it.

  • Think of it as food, if it changes color or smells bad, then it's time to get rid of it!

  • Give another use to expired makeup. Be creative and do your research.

  • Have a small collection and use everything! It's not just to see how beautiful the package or content is.

If you need help identifying what makeup products you need and what colors look good on your skin tone, contact us. That way you won’t waste money or time at cosmetic stores or be confused in what to get. We can help you!
