What is the cost per wear?
The cost per wear is when you calculate the real value of an item before purchasing it with the following formula:
Total cost of the item + Cost of alteration (if any) + Cost of dry cleaning ÷ Estimated number of days you will wear it = The cost per wear
Under five dollars per day used is a good investment. This formula can help you save to money, space in your closet and become a conscious shopper.

Focus on quality not quantity.
Consider the fabric, color, style and details of the garment.
Consider the seasons that the item can be worn in.
Identify if it’s your style, and how you feel in it.
